AJT Events

Established in 2018 by Faye Thomson-Butt, AJT Events is a successful Dance Events Company, specialising in traditional dance festivals in the Northwest of England.

From our first live one day event in Crewe in 2018 our competitions have grown to span whole weekends and include a wide variety of dance genres including Greek and National dance.

The overall aim at our events is for dancers to have fun and celebrate dance and performance whilst also showing support to one another. We strive to make our events friendly and welcoming so that every dancer goes away having had a positive experience with us.

During lockdown we were able to run two large online festivals for dancers in the UK and overseas. Since coming out of lockdown we have been fortunate to hold festivals at Nantwich Civic Hall and the theatre at an old University Campus in Crewe, two spacious stage venues.

My daughter has been attending Musical Theatre classes with AJT Dance for a few years and loves it.  It’s great to see her skills and confidence grow, and then to watch her perform on stage at the theatre with the other participants is a joy!  An experience and a memory to last forever!

More recently she has joined Evie’s group singing class, which she loves.  Evie is fantastic with the children and we can hear the difference it is making to her singing.  Thank you to all at AJT Dance!

The AJT Dance Show was amazing.  It was great to see all the singers, dancers and musical theatre group show everybody how amazing they are.  AJT Dance really does offer a variety of classes from preschool to adults of various ages.

Tonight, I attended three fantastic, fun, energetic dance classes.  It was such a great atmosphere, everyone enjoying their love of dance together.  I would highly recommend AJT Dance as Faye and Hannah are both truly creative, incredible Dance Teachers.

I highly recommend AJT Dance classes.  The adult classes are fun and taught at your pace.  It’s great to meet new people who also love to dance.  It has helped me to get back into dancing after a 20-year break.  I look forward to the classes each week, a time for me to be me!

I love Faye and her style!  I do classes in ballet, tap and jazz.  There’s a sense of fun and it’s relaxed, but we get loads done. 

I took part in my first dance show (in 24 years) a few months ago and loved being back dancing and performing.  The first show of many!

I will be starting Musical Theatre in September and my little boy (aged 8) already attends Musical Theatre.  There are various different classes for different ages and abilities.

I can’t recommend AJT Dance highly enough.
